１１月２３日に徳島県鳴門市にある大麻比古神社でNPO法人徳島県古武道協会主催阿波国一之宮大麻比古神社古武道演武大会に参加しました。
徳島に安土桃山時代に伝えられ、現在でも久武館道場で守り続けられている阿州柳生神影流兵法剣術や伝承舞を大麻比古神社で披露することができました。
当日は素晴らしい天気で七五三のお参りに来られる方もたくさんおり賑やかな演武大会となりました。
大麻比古神社は阿波国一之宮で正月の参拝者数は徳島一を誇る名社で数多くのイベントが開催されています。
今後も大麻比古神社の繁栄に微力ながら貢献したいと思います。
On November 23rd, I participated in the Awa Province First Shrine Ōasahiko Shrine Traditional Martial Arts Demonstration Tournament hosted by the NPO Tokushima Prefecture Traditional Martial Arts Association at Ōasahiko Shrine in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture.
I was able to demonstrate the Ashū Yagyū Shinkage-ryū martial arts sword techniques and traditional dances, which were introduced to Tokushima during the Azuchi-Momoyama period and are still preserved today at the Kyūbukan Dojo, at Ōasahiko Shrine.
The weather was splendid that day, and with many visitors attending the Shichi-Go-San festival, the demonstration became a lively event.
Ōasahiko Shrine is the principal shrine of Awa Province and boasts the highest number of New Year visitors in Tokushima, hosting numerous events.
We hope to continue contributing, however modestly, to the prosperity of Ōasahiko Shrine.
