8月21日に徳島北高校国際英語科の関係者が徳島の剣術/柳生神影流を体験しました。
武術と武道、剣術と剣道の違いや徳島の剣術/柳生神影流の特徴などを説明し、剣術が地方の文化が大きく反映されていることなど、初めて知ることが多く楽しい体験になりました。
On August 21, students from the International English Program at Tokushima Kita High School experienced Tokushima-style swordsmanship (Yagyu Shinkage-ryu).
We explained the differences between martial arts and martial disciplines, as well as between swordsmanship and kendo, and discussed the characteristics of Tokushima-style swordsmanship (Yagyu Shinkage-ryu). It was an enjoyable experience where the students learned many new things, such as how swordsmanship deeply reflects regional culture.
